Upon your booking, resources are immediately mobilized—including veterinary health clearances, Maharashtra State transit permits, and climate-controlled travel slots. By placing an order or transferring a deposit, you (The Client) acknowledge and agree to the terms of this legally binding agreement.2. Cancellation Policy: Live Animals
Preparing a pet for travel in the North Indian climate requires immediate financial deployment for health screening and secure transport booking.
A. The “24-Hour” Grace Period
We offer a strictly regulated window for change of mind:
- Eligibility: Cancellation is only valid within 24 hours of the initial payment timestamp.
- Process: Request must be sent via email to orders@maharashtrapets.in or through our official WhatsApp support channel.
- Outcome: A 100% refund of the deposit will be processed back to the source account within 5-7 business days.
B. Post-24 Hour Cancellation (Non-Refundable)
Once the 24-hour window expires, all payments become strictly NON-REFUNDABLE.
Reasoning: At this stage, our Ludhiana and Mohali teams execute irreversible actions:
- Microchipping & Registration: The animal is legally registered in your name.
- Veterinary Certification: A licensed vet is commissioned for the “Fit-to-Travel” certificate.
- Transport Reservation: Non-refundable cargo or specialized pet-taxi slots are paid for in full.
3. Pet Foods & Accessories
Our dry goods division utilizes an automated fulfillment system to serve the Maharashtra region.
A. Dispatch Lock
Orders for food, treats, and accessories are transmitted to our warehouses (Mohali or Ludhiana) instantly. Due to this automation,
Pet Products are strictly Non-Cancellable once the order is confirmed, as they enter the packing and logistics queue immediately.
4. Return Policy: Live Animals (The Biosecurity Rule)
For the safety of our entire nursery colony, we maintain a strict
No-Return Policy on live animals once they leave our facility.
A. Medical Biosecurity
Once a pet enters a new environment, they are exposed to external pathogens. To prevent the risk of cross-contamination (such as Parvo or Distemper) to our other neonate animals, we cannot accept returns. We offer a Health Warranty for specific medical conditions, but “dislike” or “allergies” are not grounds for a return.5. Special Disclaimer: Exotic Bird Chicks
Hand-feeding chicks (Macaws, African Greys, etc.) are extremely sensitive.
RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Buyers of unweaned chicks assume 100% Liability upon handover. We do not provide refunds for mortality caused by aspiration, improper formula temperature, or home-environment stress. Our Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) clause covers the bird strictly during transit, verified by a continuous unboxing video.6. Return Policy: Pet Products

- The video must be uncut, showing the shipping label and the discovery of the damage.
